FAQ About Eagle Ford Shale Housing
Where can I get groceries?
Three Rivers has a Super S grocery store located just off the square between U.S. 281 and S.H. 72. It is a full-service store with all your needs.
What about my laundry?
Just five miles south of the Hackberry Creek RV Park is the Three Rivers Laundromat. It offers self service washers and dryers as well as wash, dry and fold service. It is on U.S. 281 on the left just south of the intersection with S.H. 72 past the Best Western motel.
How about wireless internet?
Hackberry Creek RV Park does not, at this time, offer wireless internet service. However, AT&T, Sprint and Verizon all have "MiFis" or air cards that enable access. We've found that parks offering wireless service are often plagued by slow speeds and outages. We feel that the guests at our Three Rivers, Texas RV Park would be happier getting their own service.
Is there cable TV?
In this rural area of South Texas, there really is no cable TV service. Most of our guests choose either Direct TV or Dish TV for their entertainment needs. Both companies are experienced with setting up systems for RVs in the Eagle Ford play.
Is there anything to do when I'm not working?
Recreation opportunities abound near our Eagle Ford Shale housing, as Three Rivers has a movie theatre that shows first-run films at prices much below metro areas. There is also Choke Canyon State Park and Reservoir, one of the best bass and catfish lakes in Texas, just to our west. Three Rivers is home to two bars that offer a variety of live music, karaoke and sporting event coverage. For those looking for a more urban entertainment experience, San Antonio is 70 miles to the north and Corpus Christi is 70 miles to the south. The Gulf Coast beaches are also less than an hour-and-a-half away from our Three Rivers Campground.
